We were invited to Rodolfo Gabrielovich's birthday dinner. Martha always goes the extra mile to decorate.

We purchased some ponchos and hats for Jonathan and David from Chile since they wanted us to get some for them. This is the mother and daughter who owned the store. We invited the daughter to our home to learn about the church, but she called later and said she could not come
Famous old building in Antofagasta patterned after the Spanish architecture. Our friends, not members, own the building. It is empty except they rent the first floor. We have wanted to take a tour through the it, but as yet it hasn't happened. The Gemenez family owned the building and had a Taylor business on the first floor and lived in the rest of the home.
Margaret arranged for Pascal to give a talk in Primary. Ideide, her mother, is giving her a little help. Margaret provided the little figures to tell the story.

They had the biggest cat I have ever seen. They had made a nice place for her to rest. They picked up this skinny cat off from the street, and now it is pretty plump.

Beto is to the right. When he and Rodolfo took me fishing, he took a tape player and played LDS music. They are really fun people. I wish we had more time to teach them about the church. Marta is ready to be baptized as far as belief, but there are some family concerns that she needs to resolve.
When we were over to the Mission home, the mission president's wife from Chile loves to prepare food in unique ways. She was showing us the ideas of how to prepare food. Margaret thought you would get a kick out of these food preparations. Pineapple and bananas and a few other things.

This is what the Mission President's wife prepared at the mission home for the missionaries departing of their homes.

We even had Elvis show up at the party. He had a good voice and could really do the shakes.
The clown started dancing with Ideide. Jorge Flores is the clown and the scout leader in the ward. He is a very good man.
The people in the ward really love Halloween and all dress up as you can see.
